For true Ibérico perfection, the pigs have to be raised in the right environment and live a happy life. In fact, Ibérico pigs live twice as long as their counterparts. The pigs roam free and eat the local all-natural cuisine. They feed for at least two seasons to help garner that truly distinct flavor.

3 . DIET

Campo Grande’s Ibérico pigs are fed a diet of nuts and whole grains, which makes for multilayered flavor and incredible marbling.

A little book with lots of power

I got this book with my first order from Campo Grande. The pork is out of this world! But that's for a different review. Here the cookbook.

I never knew that pork can be perfectly delicious, soft, tender, and juicy just after a minute or 2 of cooking each side--depending on what cut you cook. I tried it becuase of this cookbook and, of course, the pork cuts it came with.

It is absolutely delicious. Mind you, don't use the directions in this cookbook with other pork types!! I found other pork always needs lots of cooking to get it soft and by then it has no taste. So if you use this cookbook, be sure to use it only with the pork you buy at Campo Grande!
