Recipe for Bacon-Wrapped dates with feta & honey

Ingredients

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Slice the dates open lengthwise and remove the pits if necessary.
  3. Cut the feta into small pieces, and stuff each date with a piece of cheese.
  4. Wrap each stuffed date with a slice of Ibérico Bacon, securing it with a toothpick.
  5. Arrange the stuffed dates on a foil-lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the bacon turns golden brown and crispy.
  7. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine the honey with the chopped walnuts.
  8. After the initial bake, remove the dates from the oven and generously drizzle the honey-walnut mixture over them.
  9. Return the dates to the oven for 2-3 minutes, allowing the honey to caramelize slightly.
  10. Remove from the oven and serve hot.
