Also known as "Poor Man's Lobster", this sweet, firm and delicious white fish tastes very similar to lobster tails. It may not look pretty before you cook it, but this recipe will leave your guests asking for more!
Ingredients
- 250 gr Monkfish tail
- 200gr Fish stock
- Red curry paste
- 1 Onion
- 30g Ginger
- 300 gr Coconut milk
- 20 gr Tomato paste
- 200gr Cabbage
- Toasted sesame
- Extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
- Sauté onion and ginger
- Add tomato paste and red curry paste.
- Add fish stock and coconut milk. Let it cook for an hour, grind and strain
- Grill the Monkfish tail and sauté the cabbage
- Assemble a plate with the grilled Monkfish tail, the sauce and the cabbage on top
- Garnish with toasted sesame
